The idea for Cielo began long before its official creation in August, 2021. Since I was a young girl, I dreamt of becoming a fashion designer who brought something different to the table. Cielo is the embodiment of what I believe fashion should be: celebrating beauty through clothing.
Cielo is founded on the core values of celebrating the beauty in all of us and empowering and supporting all people who create and produce along the supply chain. Most people, including myself, would call this an "ethical" and "sustainable" brand. However, I feel these words can be misused in the industry and I want to challenge myself to prioritize transparency and refrain from using language that may oversimplify my production process. Cielo is meant to serve people who care deeply about others and the planet, and also have a love for unique self-expression through clothing. I founded Cielo to design and sell clothing using a slow fashion model.
